964 Computer Chip?

What would be the best chip to run in a 92 3.6 with Headers and K&N air filter?

Try Steve Wong's. He's a regular poster on the 911 forum and specializes in the 3.2's but has chips for the 964 3.6's. He'll customize the program to suit your needs. Very helpful guy and cheap prices.

Tripster: What kind of headers do you have? I like to take the CAT off a 964-3.6 liter and put SSI's with a 2in-2out muffler. Is that possible? Are there SSI's available for 964's? And dual in/dual out mufflers?

I'm not sure if you can get SSI's for the 964...I checked here and they don't list them, but that doesn't mean they're not available

In BA's book he makes a comment about the difference between 964's and early 993's being only the exhaust system and airmass sensor I think.

Just changing to the 993's system should give you 20 odd ponies?

If he said that, it's an over simplification. There are many things different between a 964 and 993, valves, ports, crank, rods, pistons, valve train etc.
