body/bumpers and wheels back to 3.2 style? Thinking about buying a '91 964 and converting the bumpers and wheels back to the old familiar style of the 3.2s. Can the Fuchs wheels fits on 964's? I can't find any '76,'77-'80 Sportomatics so I guess the next possible move would to backdate the styling of the 964. Any thoughts? Thx!

I'm almost positive the fuchs won't fit (this is what I've been told) unless they make some replica's...if your going to back date, back date her to the early long hood look, which guys have done here (search the 911 tech forum); there are kits for it already...

You could probably get the body parts, after all people are putting 993 sheet metal on 1970's vinatge 911's so it shouldgo the other way as well. You would have to get Fuchs replicas though as the offset for the 964 are way different 55/52 vs. 11/23 IIRC.
