O2 sensors 97'993
How much and how often do these go bad? I'm told they only last about 60k if your lucky.
Thanks, jerry |

Any exposure to silicon products will also ruin them in short order, can you say Armor-All

There are a lot of variables - but 100K miles is not unheard of.
Your 993 has 4 sensors (ouch). The pre-cat sensors are more important in terms of engine management, the post-cat sensors simply tell the engine that you have a functioning catalytic converter. The Bosch Generic sensor is about $90 - the new kit to re-use your old connector works amazingly great. There's also a promotion on the Bosch site for a $10 gas card per sensor.
