Rear window seal (outer) replacement.

The outer seal on my rear window is loosening in a small area. I have a few questions.

How common is this?
How easy is it to replace?

I think I have honed in on the part here on Pelican for around $50.00.

Thanks.

It just snaps in to place. You may wish to try pushing it into its channel to see if that fixes it. Otherwise, they just pull out and push back in.

I've tried pushing it back in, but it seems to be worn or broken so that pushing it back into place does nothing.

Mine did that as well and at speed would snap and pull away from the window. I bought some glue/sealant at an auto part store (was on a long drive back from Vegas) as a temp fix, but it's still holding!
