RSA Setup

Buying an RSA Saturday. PPI was very good. Just wondering how this setup sounds:
4 wheel alignment, corner balanced, bilstein shock/strut with spring hats&adjusters, spring rates 350lbs (f), 600lbs (r), left front -2.40, right front -2.80, left rear -2.60, right rear -2.88, lowered 1/2", 225-45-17(f) 255-45-17

Just curious. This is far cry from my 85' targa with minimal track set-up.
Can't wait to get it!

the front spring seem a bit soft compared to the rears. The nearest comparison I can come up w/ is H&R 964 Cup 455 lb/in front 685lb/in rear f/r ratio 0.664

factory Cup 600/800 ratio .75

your ratio .583

the lower the ratio the more oversteer.

Not sure what the other #s are, camber? if so depending on tires and usage that's could be a lot

looks like the car is set up for track use

I like the tire sizing especially if the wheels are 8 & 9.5

pics are always appreciated

hopefully some of the 964 afficianados will comment

No picks until the weekend when I get it. The wheels are 8 & 9's, #'s are camber, owner had said it is really set up well for the track. I will probably have the camber dailed back after/during my upcoming DE's pending how it handles. I'll check the spring rates when I get all the receipts. It lists it as bilstein cup shock/strut.........Thanks for the input!

Front springs do seem soft, but there are so many other variables to balance (e.g. track, tires, aero, sway bars), it may be just fine.

With those camber numbers, you should be able to run Hoosier R6.

I have heard that PSCs work better on heavier cars. Has this RSA been through any weight loss program?

No weight loss and actually have added rollcage. So close to stock weight.
Nice to hear the MPSC are a good choice. Really looking forward to The Glen.
I have a set of Toyo RA-1's as well on 16's 993 rims that only have one track weekend on them. I'll have to see how they fit as well. Really liked them on my Carrera
