code scanner suggestions - 993
Just moved sideways to a 993 so am researching code scanners/capabilities.
Any suggestions or "Stay away froms" ? Thanks EPS - Tucson

A basic OBDII scanner (I use an Actron) will read most of the codes you need, reset CEL's and tell you if the readiness indicators (for smog) are set.
If you want to get into airbag or ABS control, then you have to step up to a durametric for the factory PSTII.

Durametrics is as close to the real Porsche scanner as you can get. Plus they have GREAT customer service and will help you
