Early Ruf wheels on a C4 964???? Info/input appreciated!
Hey Guys and gals-
Looking for info on fitting early 17" RUF wheels onto a 964 Carrera 4. Now, i know they (early/911-930) are different offsets, and that they made higher offsets (and design) for 964/993. But i dont like the newer 2 styles, period correct or not. Is there anyone who has done this, or knows of a way around it? And if so, what wheels (offset/width) should I be looking for? This is not a race car, or a crazy street car- just a stock "nice day" daily with an exhaust and coilovers. I definitely dont want stupid looking offsets on there, or "stretched" tires and rolled fenders, but am not against using spacers on a narrower wheel, etc with 7's or 8's, and to be honest would not be against using 7's all the way around if necessary.... Or if no one has tackled this specifically, Does anyone happen to know what the biggest (smallest ET) offset you can do with 7's, 8's and 9's respectively (all the way around) in a 964 c4? I did search around, but didnt find much as far as specifics, at least that i trusted... Thanks so much for the help, I am new to the 964 game. These are a big investment, and although they arent going down in value, I would rather just do it right once, especially since i may have to buy singles or pairs to make a set that fit. Here is the pic of the Early style I am after, I know everyone probably knows of what i speak, but just for giggles: My apologies if it is your picture, I just googled early RUF... Thanks in advance for any help! ![]() |
