Radio Codes and where to find them

Hi All,
just trying to do some research into where you would obtain a radio code for a CR-1 Porsche radio. Not a becker, but a Porsche radio.
Been all over the net and can't find out... Surely, there must be a hack or something to get the code for one of these without knowing the original VIN of the vehicle it came out of?
Yes, i know that there are better radios out there - but am wanting to restore my car to original with a functional CR-1 Radio. Obtaining the radio isn't the issue, but obtaining the code appears to be?
