My personal favorite. It belongs in Toon Town with Roger Rabbit behind the wheel and Jessica at his side!

I'm pretty sure that thing started life off as a Skoda. Probably one similar to this...

Cheers,

Paul.

Which model is that? A quick google search turned up nothing. Maybe it is the angle of that picture, but that little car deserved better. Some minilites, a small drop, and maybe some mild fender flares and you have a cool little mini-corvair rally beater. Who knows, my knowledge of Czech cars is lacking.

I'm not sure which model it is (110R?), but I remember them back in England when I was a kid. They were horrible cars- belching smoke, rusty and with more body roll than an old Range Rover. And those were the good ones! I could be wrong on it too- but the shape of the rear fender comes up look similar, and the wheel base is about right?

Another pic of one...

Cheers,

Paul.

That's also got a bit of 136 Rapide in it (below). Those old Skodas were quick Group N rally cars (though Skoda rally versions didn't have all that fibreglass hanging off them):

What I don't understand is "why?". Camry probably costs $15. They did a decent enough job at it. I bet, it'd fool most on a quick glance. Figure another $10K for parts and body work. You can buy a 1999 996 for $30K.

Who'd clone a bone stock 996 anyway? I'd like to see more photos of that anyone have any?

I saw a bozo at the Kruse auction bid one of these up to $42k. He was grinning like a kid who just got laid for the first time:

Close, but I think Paul nailed it. I don't want to spend any more time looking at that thing, but then again, I feel that way about legitimate slant nosers anyway.

Some of these are sooo far out there somewhere, that you don't really know what it is supposed to be. An enjoyable thread, even though I just about spit-up a couple of times.
