for 964's the most common colors by far were black and blue. Next in almost equal numbers were white, silver and guards red with green close behind followed by yellow. A guards red 964 was maybe 1 out of 10 cars. But they do get the attention, yes they do..

Rescuer of old cars

This is my opinion as well. The only exception is black, due to the higher maintenance. Won't own a black car ever again. When I started shopping for a 911, I wanted to avoid silver, red and white. First three possibles I looked at were red and white. Ended up buying a great car in "sorta" white—Chiffon. Not my favorite, but it has grown on me.

I'm shopping for my first 911 and GR over black is my first choice! Are you telling me I can get that at discount? Show me! I want to enjoy my mid life time (I'm in no way in crises)
