Thanks, guys!! Mine never came with the levers, so I may just swap over the brake handle to one with the levers. I am also seeing whether or not I can install a switch for the footwell blowers.

John Walker is correct. I call it the "hug" technique, as you kinda "hug" the transmission. You arm will fit right up there and you'll feel the bolt.

That underside is not "crusty" at all. WHat you are looking at is cosmoline on the engine and suspension components. Personally, I think it looks pretty dry.

You could also try a gravity bleed to get things started. Just open the right rear bleed nipple until fluid starts to flow. I do this on my motorcycles all the time.
