Another RSR Clone Project - Before & After
After nearly 2 years to the day, my dream RSR project is complete. I spent the morning today working with Scott at Auto Associates to dyno tune the motor. I'll post the details in another post but the bottom line was 245 HP off the rear wheel hubs (ala 280 engine HP). Auto Associates also did the 4 wheel alignment and corner balance. Curb wieght ended upo at 2140 lbs.
I've been waitring for this day to take the after pics to match the before pics taken 2 year ago. before ![]() after ![]() before ![]() after ![]() before ![]() after ![]() before ![]() after ![]() before ![]() after ![]() I am really pleased with the road manners of the car. it's stiff but not bone rattling. I even took the wife for a drive this afternnon. The engine is very tractable and pulls well from 1500 RPM. It roars from 3500 up to redline of 7500 RPM. See my post on the dyno results. Next up will be some acceleration trials with my son on the stop watch and then the Nov Drivers Ed at Lime Rock. |

Great job!!! You did a great job with the details on the motor. Also, curious
about what size you went with on the tires. They look perfect... Bryan |
