				weber tuning and rebuilding question?
			 
			what tools are needed to rebuild and tune the weber 40mm carbs. does anyone have an exploded diagram of these carbs?   thanks -larry

			Carb cleaner, screw driver, 1/4 socket set, carb sync,101 projects for your 911!!!!! and about 5-10 hours of time

			you will need a carb rebuild set with all the washers, rubbers, gaskets, ... you will need compressed air too to blow everything out. we did it on our 69T a few months ago, with no real technical background. Just take your time, nothing much can go wrong. we took a lot of pics during the dismantling of the carbs, so we could always look back to see how a part was mounted in case we forgot   it took us about 1 day per carb, and that's including cleaning the whole body with toothbrush etc..

			taking it apart and putting it back together is not the hard part. setting the mixture was always tough for me, with a unisyn the rest is easy. go buy a 5 gal can of carb cleaner fron napa or advance, great stuff, but dont put anything in there with paint on it casue it wont be on there if u leaveit very long. good luck
