Count me in for the over night. I am working on the car this weekend and with any luck will have it done and ready to go. I am bringing someone with me so count on 2 in my car.

Meeting place: Denny's in Point Loma, just off Interstate 5&8

From the North (LA/OC), take interstate 5 South to Interstate 8 East Exit. The same exit is ROSECRANS. Take Rosecrans and meet at the Dennys at the bottom of the ramp.

From I-15 (San B and Riverslide) take I-15 to I-8. Take I-8 West and Take the ROSECRANS exit (It's right at the connection to I-5).

Meeting time 8:00 AM. Leaving time 9:00 AM.

Route: I-5 south to 94 East. 94 East to Lyon's Valley road. Loop around Lyon's Valley Road to Tecate.

Stop at the Convience store at the Boarder just before you cross into Mexico. Last Bathroom in the USA.....

Drop into Tecate and follow the leader to Highway 2-D. Run 2-D to Mexicali. Stop and have lunch at Casino De Mexicali. (around 1PM).

The plan is that after the run, we will be going out in the Gas Lamp area of San Diego. I figure we'll start at the Rock Bottom Brewery and figure the rest of the night from there.

Too many people can only do one day, so were aren't doing an overnight in Mexico. However, for those willing to stay we can see the sights in San Diego!

The Gas Lamp is a great fun area.
