If you delete it you need to put in a 14" or 16" electric fan. It is not necessary to upgrade the radiator, thermostat and fan temp sensor.
The hp gain is practically zero. You will gain a bit more ease of reving. You will remove a common failure item which is the plastics fan blades which can break and cut rad hoses.

thamks alot, im trying to figure all the junkyard upgrades i can do to my car. i read about finding a supercharger and turbo but i wanted to know what cams are the best for my car. and i read that i should keep my block and put new pistons and s50 rods and crank in and ill have a 2.8 because of the longer stroke. also heard i can mate a s54 block to my head. is any of this true. what are the hp moves you know

I recommend debaffling the airbox and a chip. Maybe a new exhaust if you want a different sound.
If you want to track it, get a Limited Slip Differential. Get lightweight 17" rims, 15-18lbs each. Then start saving for an M3. You can spend a lot of money and way too much time and still fall short of the M3.

m3 is 1200 a month and it'll be a long time for i can afford that. if youre telling me to just buy the s50 im down with that i want to keep my head i put about a grand into that when i blew my head gasket. the block has bout 350,000 miles on it i know im gonna end up rebuilding it or another motor to rebuild before i blow mine. i just want a bad ass motor. i already built my suspension out better than the actual e36 m3. my car was bought in germany and freighted over and im the 2nd owner. the first is amazed at what im doing to the car out of pocket and so far all by myself, 'cept for the machine work which i have a hook-up at a machine shop. i did valves and springs and they shaved as much out as i told them. im looking at some mufflers right now. i did shorty headers when i did the head. i dont know yet what advantages or where to look i can make to the vanos unit. i did the m3 chip for 413dme. im waiting for the cold air intake to get to my house now. my interior is tricked out already reapolstered in spiderweb on the whole roof, rear deck and in my gauges where people usually do that carbon overlay. i painted all the motor pieces when i blew the head gasket
