Sorry, I'm not jeron, and no help either, but perhaps you can satisfy my curiosity, or ignorance, as it may be.
What is the difference in the Euro, versus the U.S. throttle body and manifold?
Has to be more air? Duh, silly question I guess, what else.
And I guess the question is what needs to be done in addition to the addition, so the engine can manage the change?(ie; turn the added air into horse power)

im just thinking that the ecu or dme might be differant. see usually the computer manages one throttle body will the same ecu do six like plugging in a power strip for more plugs in a house like an extension cord

I would think that the ecm would adjust the fuel, and timing to accomodate the euro throttle body air just the same as the US one.

The only info the ecm gets from the trottle body is from the throttle possition sensor.

The only input the throttle body gets is from your foot.

The ecm gets air volume information from the MAF sensor.

When the throttle is at rest, the idle control valve is in control of the air.
The idle control valve however is controlled by the ecm based on information it gets from several sensors.

The euro manifold mod is common and the throttle body addition has probably been done as well. Check bimmerforums.com
