Looking to delete Lamda from '87 930 to install into '74
I'm looking to install an '87 930 engine into a '74 chassis and don't want to add the Lambda system. I don't have the chassis harness or Control units for any of the Lambda.
Can I just remove the enrichment harness bits and remove the freq. valve. Or do I need to change out the Fuel dist and WR ? |

Pretty sure that you won’t need to worry about your fuel distributor. Not sure about the WUR
I’m sure someone will chime in soon with a more definitive answer. I have a 81 so, no Lambda. LMK if you need any part #s or pix

A few years ago, Tremelune uploaded a bunch of files I created to somewhere on the internet for us all to use.
One of those files is a wiring diagram for an '86 930 which shows all the devices and wiring that can be removed to effectively delete all the emission controls. Click on the link "1986 930 engine wiring diagram, emissions delete (PDF)" in this thread from 2015.
