Thanks for the bigger pics. You need the Heikki Kovalainen helmet to match.

Kozmo,
In the photo above the 3" aluminum tube and reducer take the place of the factory diverter valve assembly. The aluminum tube is inserted in the 965 elbow which hold the 25mm recirc. valve. The reducer fgoes from 3" to 2.75" and attached to the factory intake pipe which runs through the sheet metal and connects to the turbo via a 2.75" short section of hose.

To the right of the above referenced tube and reducer, you will see a 3" to 2" silicon reducer, a length of 2" aluminum tube with a 30 degree bend and a 2" double hump hose. These items take the place of the factory "elephant nose" which connects the intercooler to the turbo itself. You can see this installed in the pics below:

As recieved, the only items you will need to complete the install onto your car are the factory 965 elbow which connects to the CIS and a 25mm diverter valve of your choice...

Sandman on the forums documented his install of a C2 intercooler on his 930 and it is a pretty good read which will explain most everything. Additionally, Profighters pics are excellent and should provide more than enough to get you going...

Call me with any questions,

JP

PS Love the babes...

Profighter ... I have been watching your living room for awhile, way cool ! I have a garage ...LOL. Thanks for the info, Darren and I have been sorting it out with the last parts purchace. With your pic's I can find what I need.

By the way guys may be changing the art work on the car for "Star Wars 2"
If anyone was at Sebring this year they would have seen it there on track and around pits driving . Big hit with all that was there , and yes I get the comments all the time good and bad but most who see the car in person like it .
Fantastic I love it. And it seems you have a little fanclub there!

My kids already love 'our' car but I reckon I must add a little along these lines for them

Sorry for ot

JP ... with your stuff and Profighters pics I have found just about everything. I keep you up to date with pics with the install after the engine comes off the dyno. I still need to make the carbon fiber rear deck and strut mounts for the spoiler.

If we can get around 430hp on dyno , should be able to reach my goal of 400hp at the wheels on the chassis dyno... .. we will see

Never seen wild paint on a Porsche? It used to be the norm.

Turbo's are the "wild mans" car in power, flares and paint. Not for the timed. OP is a good turbo owner, has the right idea.

Not trying to be a rude but is this an upgrade worth doing? It certainly looks good. I am just wondering if an aftermarket IC would ad more benefit to HP gains? Can you retain the AC unit with this setup? It does not look that way.

You can maintain the AC by replacing the AC condenser to another location.
Some put it up front, some put it in the rear fender well.
It is doable with some smaller mods

Look up Troy Lee Designs. He can paint your helmet with any design you want.

Have you settled on the IC?

Thanks for the info about Troy Lee, I think he can do it right. The IC is lighter then a bar type IC, factory use a tube type which is much lighter. I have found in the past any IC that gets heat soaked you will loose the ability to cool the intake charge . So as long as you never shut off the motor the air will be moving over the fins , even that will only last so long . Since I don't have A/C at the moment that is not a issue , but in the future there are ways to do it that are workable.
