Ignition problem?

Well got home from work at 7am.
Did the normal. Parked, locked the wheel, locked the door and set the alarm.
Showered and got ready to bring the girlfriend to work.

So by 8, I'm heading out.
Put the key in the ignition, try turning it...ok it's still locked. That's normal sometimes, I'll try wiggling the steering wheel too. Hmmm...is it rage tymez yet?

So I keep going at it, try turning the key around. Keep wiggling...still the key wont move at all. So the steering wheel is locked, I can't turn the key so I can move the car or turn the electronics on.
Rage tymez

Called my buddy up, he said it could be a tumbler issue. Anyone care to chime in? This sucks cause this is my daily driver too. And I'm stuck in my dad's parking spot and I can't even push it out.

Try moving the gear shifter forward and back (I presume AT) and at the same time turning (attempting to turn) steering wheel to the left and at the same time turing the key...you need a couple more hands so have the girl do the shifter...

Other than that, try putting the car on jack-stands and doing above.

is the wheel turned and locked deep left or right. if so turn it deeper toward the way it's already turned, hold the wheel and then turn the key.
