The best part is, it's like talking to a character from Fargo.

After all the help here & further testing on my Thruxton I've decided...

That my 42R fits well except pulling in the shoulders while in a crouched position. My plan is to order another 42R, but with 'Back Panel Ellipse' & 'Additional Forward Rotated Sleeves' options. When I call Aerostich I plan to ask about the 'Roadcrafter Mid Gusset' to allow some extra room for a Bohn back protector.

Thx again for all the good advice!

Or, you could put handlebars on the Thruxton. A friend did that; it's a nice mod...

The Thruxton is going, once my 1200S gets here. Seems against the laws of nature anyway, to replace clip-on's w/ bars? (As I pretend that I'm still 20'something & can ride all day with clip-on's)

You're on the right track, I was in exactly the same boat as you! But I actually first ordered a 44S and found it to be brutal on my K1200S with pulling on the shoulders. So I called aerostich again and went over the sizing one more, and ended up getting a 42R with Additional Forward Rotated Sleeves option .... Its perfectamondo!! Fits like a glove

Except the K12S is gone and now I'm on this beauty!!

Thx kahoon. I read this post right as I was dailing 'stich, so your info was VERY timely!

Nice 1200ADV, would love to have one if I wasn't so vertically challenged
