I thoroughly love posts like this.... I very much enjoy expanding my musical horizon.
I listen to just about everything when I go riding. BUT if I am really jamming corners or gobbling the superslab I need something fast paced like techno or house music, some rock or alternative will do though. 80GB of music is out of my league. I'm happy with all the music I own in 25GB. Can't see need for much more. I just wouldn't need it. It's odd how it seems your favorite music will always be what you listened to in high school and college.
Hard to top Jimi. However, nothing passes nighttime slab like "Riders on the Storm" or some Pink Floyd of any nature (post-Syd, for me). Pink Floyd doesn't translate well in daylight for some reason. Eagles of Death Metal junkie. "Speaking in Tongues" is a gem with the revved-up guitar builds and cymbal-banging.
