yeah... if u like darude, there is a compilation series you

should check out called "Euro Club Hits" --

it's pretty clear that dance music is coming back around the

world -- just check the recent big American hip-hop and R&B

hits which are clear rip-offs of the european dance

style.....

here's the direct iTunes link to the "Euro Club Hits"

series.....

Just thought I'd bump this thread for those that aint...and thought to meeself well I may as well quote myself and go for the double

I had an Alterior motive though. Something I have been meaning to shout out about.

If you like Dance Music - or Electronic Music take a look at www.beatport.com all the different genres are there and it's enlightening to see just how many genres for dance/electronic music there are.

I like beatport because I can just buy one track and download it to my walkmanmp3 and I'm supporting alot of mostly underground dudes.

Anyway - bumps away

I like replaying this in my head while riding.
Hey, the music, not the video. I only buy Playboy for the articles, you know:

An old band, but a new discovery for me. I still like just the sound of internal combustion when riding, but in the car this band will give me a little boost. Has to be the old stuff with Tarja though.

Well, there's a surprise? Never expected anyone on this forum to be into electronic or dance music... Hate the stuff personally. I always find the words electronic and music to be contadictory but hey, call me old fashioned. As an old muso, if 1 or more people can't recreate the sound live with instruments and vocals, I would seriously hesitate to call them musicians. IMO, a techniction programming a computer, sampling (ripping off) classic R&B tunes and putting an electronic drum beat to the track that monotonously doesn't change for 6 minutes - well, talent or good software?!?

But, each to their own. I have mates in their '50's who are into Dance Music or Doof Doof. I just don't stay long at their parties

But I don't want to start a heated debate. Personal taste is personal taste and this is a good thread.

I'll finish with something corny.... usually, the riding music I prefer is the sound of my free flowing Leo Vinces grumbling and roaring when I twist the throttle...

Oh, BTW. A lot of the YouTube links I clicked on that you guys posted came up with an error message - something 'bout the account being closed...

Rock on!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, a fine song. Most of Dolby's product came from our local EMI pressing plant (RIP) back then. Once in a while they would grab the wrong master tapes of the songs and treat us to alternative takes of that song and other Dolby greats. EMI's pressings were like the box of chocolates back then.
