Lovely setting. Your bike still looks very nice considering how much you ride it too!

Time to clean you sensor, it has a bit of dust.

It's now got 99,000km on the clock and right now it looks downright raunchy. But that's nothing a bit of soap and water can't fix.

It wouldn't surprise me if there was some dust on my sensor by now due to all the lens swapping since I use primes only with the Fuji, but on this particular image I don't know what you are seeing, but on the full res image in LR the only spots I see are some birds that are flying over the sea. I counted about 4. No dust spots yet this early in the trip. 😊 Still, I probably should have removed them, precisely because of what you said.

Looking at 200%, it's a distant bird. But this does show and reminds me that if you have small objects like birds or small rocks or plants with out of place color that detract and don't otherwise add to the photo, they are best removed. If it doesn't add anything, it shouldn't be in there. Something to pay attention to not only during composition, but also post-processing.

And of course now that you pointed them out to me, I can't un-see them.

Damn, this photography stuff is difficult.

Man, I am sorry. I just have gotten in the habit of looking for that stuff due to fighting dust with my own images. Birds do add to this scene. Must have been nice to be there.

Nothing to apologize for Bill, no offense made or taken. I get annoyed by dust as much as the next guy.

It was really nice. Plan on putting up another report with lots of pics, but that may take a while as I am looking at processing 600+ photos. After first round of culling.
