Wayne - I bought the 101 projects book about two years BEFORE I bought my Carrera. I will buy the 101 Boxster book as soon as it is available, and hope to pick up that used Boxster in another year or two.

The book is at the printers according to Wayne. It's printed in Asia and shipped in bulk to Wayne's publisher and distributor for release. As I understand Wayne (and he will speak for himself, I'm sure), the book will be available pretty soon now. Maybe within 30 days. |

Yes. I'm a huge scam artist. Those free 800notes sites prove it.. LOL
Back in Dec. Jan 09/10 we were doing 60k a month. Orders did slip past us, and we tried (there are two of us) to get back to everyone. It is VERY hard to stock some of these parts. 99% of the parts pushers out there.. stock NOTHING. It is all drop ship. I maintain and build race cars for people all over the USA. I travel a LOT to PRO events, club races, AutoX's, DE's throughout the year with nearly no break (and have for 25+ years) I apologize to those of you who slipped through the cracks. 100's and 100's of others have not. I do the best I can with very little help. B |

No interest either way Brad but if you are that busy you should have had someone dedicated to procurement and shipping. Once you enter the mail order/internet sales business (and become successful) it's no longer a one (or two) man show. Just my $.02, and on your behalf I know you went out of your way to get two of my racing friends going this year...

The site has been around for 10 years
I changed the domain name back in 08. Until the boxsterspec site, I made no attempt to advertise the site. Once I did... it blew up in my face. Ask Wayne how hard it is to find people who *know* Porsche parts.. especially late model parts. 60% of our sale are to other shops, 30% is referral and 10% is people actually ordering online. Rarely.. very rarely do people actually hit the "buy it now" button. They always call or email me and buy "offline". The complete BoxsterSpec kits where a HUGE hit.. but a ton of work. The margins are small.. the hassle is nearly not worth it. B |
