Thanks guys, I bought the inserts from the ad already. Shocks I'd be looking for new or close HDs.
T bars could be used but thicker than stock.

I have the 22mm Tarett Engineering adj rear sway bar from my 86 911, but Tarett shows a different one for 65-77 vs 78-89.
PM me if interested anyway.

a buddy gave me some custom SR dampers to try out since he has revamped his suspension to all elephant vons. too many pot holes in MI for me and want to run softer dampers.

i may have some upgraded, bilstein sport dampers inserts i will be pulling out once it gets warm enough. i think they are tuned for 22mm 29mm TBs.

Hi panzefaust
I received a notification in my e-mail inbox - I don't see your post. Should I try and PM you? In case I was unclear - I require the steel panel portion.
Cheers
JB

Hey - no worries - it was worth a shot. Still holding out hope for a response - though it's starting to look like I'll have to go the 'repro' route. More $$$$ down the 'resto-rabbit-hole'.

Cheers

Hi Richard

Thanks for your reply. Although I haven't decided at this point, I am seriously considering going with one of Restoration Design's repros - a little more pricey than I'd hoped but all should be 'correct' as far as the resto job in the parcel shelf area goes.

Cheers
