Not much from me on the questions front, just go in knowing you're going to beat it. I have a cousin who was diagnosed late beat it. When he started treatment he told the doctor, I don't care what you do, just do it, I have crops to get off this fall. I think that attitude saved his life.

Thanks everybody for your great info and good wishes. I'm frankly amazed at how little we appear to know about our choices. Doc says the cancer is slow growing and insignificant. But that appears to be more opinion than verifiable data. Just watch it. Huh? I'm going to check out md Anderson.

Just watching it would be my preference. They side effects of surgery seem to get less severe as techniques improve. If it’s growing fast enough to require surgery now, have it done, but if you can put it off for years (or forever) that would be my choice.
