The Love Guru. Massive flop that all but killed Mike Myers career. But I, my wife and several friends find it hilarious. I think you have to have more than a passing interest and or working knowledge of new age self help, but it does a great job of poking fun. Justin Timberlake does a great job as an over the top 'Jacques 'le cock' Grande'. John Oliver, Steven Colbert and Jim Gaffigan with hilarious secondary parts. Don't take it seriously, just bask in the cheesiness of it all.
Totally off to find 2 days in the Valley now though.

Gattaca. I don't recall it doing too well at the box office, but it's both futuristic and 1940's film noir at the same time and explores a world we are fast approaching where your fate is determined for you before you are born.
Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle. Don't take it seriously. Just have fun with it. It revived Neil Patrick Harris' career.

Moon Over Parador..1988. Richard Dreyfus, Raul Julia, and Sonia Braga. Dreyfus is called upon to impersonate a recently deceased dictator of a Banana Republic. Johnathan Winters appears as a CIA agent. Generally a fun movie to watch.
