So I did something sort of interesting the other day. Bought a YZ250FX.

After riding 2 stroke dirt bikes for a couple of years, this thing has low end torque that is better than good enough. Sort of ugly now, but I have plans.

What is cool? 1. Killer suspension. 2. Programmable EFI.

Eric,
I had it at Brown's Camp a few days ago. Rode muddy single track in a manner that wasn't entirely embarrassing. Good times!

Nice. I heard these can get it done compared to the first 250 4 strokes. As in get the front wheel up over a log or root with throttle only. Used to have 2002 450 Honda, was the first year model. About 50hp and 215 lbs. Was really fun on the trails. Coming from a KX125 it was a torque monster.

I need a sport bike transported from S. Caroline to my place here in Florida. About 500 miles one way.

Any recommendations?

Thanks!
