Yup but I'm set for now, truly.

There's one on FB MP over in England I'd love to have though....just like the last one I got but an F2 - which has the side farings!

No way I'd want to pay that shipping cost though!

1986 Honda vf500 f2
£2,795

(listing info) Really nice original, unrestored Honda VF500 F2 V-Four classic sports bike. Only 15,700 miles from new, partial service history and Vosa Mot history Runs & rides like new, very hard to fault, the odd mark here & there but for a nearly 40 year old bike it’s in exceptional condition, clearly been a very cherished bike. Flew through its recent mot with zero advisories, was part of my collection but unfortunate circumstances mean I have to sell them. 1st to see will bite my hand off, very reluctant sale. Cheers

11 photos plus a video.....

(and this one is mine...see the difference?)

If and when I do add to my quiver......maybe a Honda Ruckus......they look like a lot of fun!

It's a pretty good excuse to go to the UK Baz. You may need to take the bike for a ride so you know you are truly happy with it. Maybe a ride up to Scotland then the ferry over to Ireland. Back to England and visit beautiful Cornwall...

Re the Ruckus. It's a Honda so must be good.

Edit: Speaking of all things Honda. I hadn't started my little 2Hp Honda outboard for about two years. I changed the petrol and pulled the starter cord slowly a dozen time to get some oil moving. Then put the fuel on and third pull of the starter cord and it fired up

No thanks on the Ruckus, or a Vespa. Can probably find a 390 Duke for the same price.

I've always loved the 650s, they're glorious - much more free-revving than the 750s.

750s apparently came from the factory with the intake cam coming on song just as the exhaust cam pretty much gives up flowing completely. So you have to wring them out and they're nothing like as much fun. Fitting the E3134 (I think?) exhaust cam to the 750 will fix that. I never paid much attention to the "oily frame" models...

Many really like any of the numerous 750 big-bore kits on the 650.

Ah, late-model conical hub. There's a reason they're known as the "comical hub".

The '69 MY TLS brake - which uses a full-width 8" drum and shoes to match, linked with a rod - works much, much better in practice. Also the '68 MY, except these have a odd non-optimal cable path...

Good choice ditching those late slab-sided covers. Hated that look at the time - it certainly didn't improve with age...

Yesterday I saw an electric motorcycle like this at the local biker bar. I was surprised it was there amongst the sea of Harley's. Anyway, I thought it looked pretty cool. I think being de-badged and lightly customized really helped.

10 years ago, I rescued a 1977 Honda Trail 90

to convert into a street bike with 12V electrical, 140cc Lifan engine.

It's a hoot to ride, but 140cc engine has much vibration, have to check the engine mounting bolts & nuts every few rides.

Currently on a motorcycle trip up in Washington. Doing a route called the WABDR. (Washington Backroad Discovery Route). https://ridebdr.com/wabdr/ It's about 600 miles from The Oregon border up to the Canadian border. I trailered my KTM 790 up to Bend Oregon, then we rode up to the start of the route. This part of Washington is beautiful. The riding has been great and the weather hasn't been to hot. Going to run into some forest road closures today due to the Pioneer fire near Chelan, but we can do bypass. A few pics.

The first couple pictures are of sunrise and sunset at our camp. Unfortunately the picture with the down bikes doesn't convey the incline, but it was a pretty good one. Today on to Chelan

This motorcycle was a static display at the Fast and Furious ride in Universal Studios Orlando. I doubt it actually ran . . . but it’s a unique design.

It's been a great trip so far Shaun! We reached the border yesterday. We made it a day earlier then we expected so the receiving band wasn't there for us. gonna spend a couple days heading back to Bend now.

What an awesome route right through the heart of the PNW. Some of my favorite riding is out that way
