Mark, your post reminded me of a slogan my friend made up for "Air Canada" our continental airline......
"We're Not Happy, Until You're Not Happy" My friend is full of these one liners, but this one always stuck, maybe because it's true?

Hi Sarah,
I have my credit way towards the end. No one ever sticks around to see those credits.. except myself! I got my name on it as VFX Editor. There were dozens of editors on that movie. I got to work on about 300+ shots of the visual effects. Green screen composites and rig removals and adding cg (computer generated) shots into the movie. It's a pretty technical process.. but worth it in the end. They're already talking about X3, 4, and 5. Talk about a Franchise. Take care |

Sorry...we did not wait to see the credits either.
![]() Humm must be why some movies start with credits so the people who worked so hard can be recognized.

That's true. The creative people get their credits before the movie starts.. i.e. Actors, directors, writers, producers, etc.
The staff and crew get theirs afterwards. I'm glad you liked the movie! |

Hey that doesn't seem fair. I would think everyone involved in something like that falls into "creative" people because without all the staff & crew the project could not even get accomplished!

But no worries it's more fun on this side of the camera. Besides all that glamour is bogus, they're still human. And every year we see actors disappear.. they can go from hero to zero in one weekend box office flop. |

So what did you like most about the movie Sarah?
It's doing really well right now. I think it has grossed more than 150million so far. I'm sure the MATRIX will knock it out of first place though. Wolverine's character was my favorite throughout the movie. |

I really liked the fast pace of the action. My favorite part was when the group of guys came to the school while the kids were sleeping and then they all started escaping using whatever special power they had (i.e. the girl running threw the walls, the guy with the body armor, etc..). I also liked when the girl flew out of airplane and the blue telaporter (sp?) guy went and caught her.

Yeah, the nightcrawler (teleporter) shots were pretty fantastic as well as Professor X's school sequence. The guy with the body armor was pretty cool also.

That is so funny that you added that about Madonna. I saw (or should I say rented) the Swept Away movie just to see if it was as bad as I thought it would be. I love movies, but OMG...I have not seen anything that awful in a long time.

Stun Blindside Richard Cheese, and the Lounge againts the machine Trapt Taproot Mudvayne The Used Social Distortion Deftones We have a closed sound check tomorrow with Mudvayne, and a closed sound check on Sat for Deftones. Yay,like the bands, not my favs, but have worked most of these bands before, so I know what to expect. But the job is great. Get to build the drum kits for the bands, set all their gear, stand 20 feet from the drummer, while the band is performing. Such a great natual high.

I like to think that I give people a clearer view of things.
I sell and install replacement widows. It's a good little gig I do on the side when I'm not playing with cars. |

Well, I could tell ya, but then I'd have to kill ya.
Seriously, I'm in Electronic Processing in the Banking Industry. Ya know the funny-looking numbers on the bottoms of checks and bank documents? I work with the systems that read those. Well, I work with the systems that read those in the 1970s (we're way behind on technology where I work! )Emanuel
