When I looked out this morning, I saw one of the two posts supporting the awning on the south side of the barn had been dislodged at its base. Likely by the Icelandic mare having a scratch. The base of the 25 year old pressure treated post had rotted.
So a quick trip into town for a couple of new posts and precast footings happened. The tractor supported the eave while I was digging out the old sonotube footings and setting the new ones. Done in an hour and a half.
I shouldn't have to mess with that again if it lasts as long as the first ones.

Need Baz over here.
Today my once a year challenge monitor 7 yard workers and a chipper for one day.
What they do in one day would take me 3 months.
