I just saw there's another series Avalon coming in 2022-2023 based on another of Michael Connelly's books. Starring Neve Campbell, who plays a detective on Cataline Island. Looking forward to it.

Well earned!

I looked up Avalon to see what's up. Looks like ABC has opted to not make it, but A+E is looking at getting it done.

Thank you, Steve! Good to know!

Zeke 10-20-2023 08:13 AM

Is there s season 3 coming or is the franchise done?
After all this time I could go back to the original series and start over. I'm sure I've forgotten the plots.

There used to be some damn good TV.

Probably like riding a bike, Milt.

Just get on it and pedal.....you'll be just fine.... ;)

That said......IF you wanted to watch all the previous episodes......and I have done that.......you will still enjoy seeing them all again.

It's just that good of a series.

Steve Carlton 10-20-2023 08:52 AM

Been there. Done that. Looking for the T-shirt.

Just watched S3E1. It's as good as ever. Maddie is missing.

Baz 10-22-2023 08:34 PM

Watched the first two episodes this afternoon. VERY good and highly recommended!

The best part.......Coltrane of course! :)

The blonde in the first pic is Bosch's daughter in real life......

Watching tonight. First episode, pretty intense.

Baz 10-30-2023 06:43 PM

I'm all caught up through episode 6....you'll enjoy it, Jack.......

Steve Carlton 10-30-2023 09:01 PM

I like how Mo's character has expanded.

Steve Carlton 11-04-2023 11:16 AM

I'm going to be suffering heroin withdrawal symptoms by next weekend.

JackDidley 11-04-2023 07:53 PM

Just saw episode 5 tonight. Trying to make it last a while.

Steve Carlton 11-18-2023 03:19 PM

Just saw that Amazon ordered a new spinoff, currently untitled. It will feature a Det. Renée Ballard who will run a cold case division and will feature Harry Bosch now and then. Yay!

Looking forward to see J Edger series,if it goes to be relisted.

Baz 11-19-2023 08:46 AM

Finished this morning. Well....the chicken came home to roost, as I was afraid of. Looks like it's under control though. Don't want to spoil it for those who haven't watched yet so that's all I will say.

Such a fantastic series though.

And Coltrane is a freaking HERO! :)

Zeke 11-19-2023 11:08 AM

10 episodes went by quickly. I managed to stretch it to 3 evenings.

As usual, left with a bit of a cliff hanger.

Looking sketchy now...

Looks like season 3 of Bosch: Legacy starts in March, 2025. Unfortunately, it will be the last season.

The Renée Ballard spinoff airs in Fall, 2025, starring Maggie Q. That should be excellent.

speeder 09-07-2024 12:32 PM

They have spread out the seasons so much and made them so short that I’ve basically lost interest. Amazon has now made watching the original series only with commercials, LOTS of commercials. Unwatchable.

Amazon sucks beyond anything that corporate America has ever foisted on the masses but it was good while it lasted. That was part of the plan, making it good for a while.

Steve Carlton 09-07-2024 12:57 PM

I think there's an ad free upgrade for Amazon.

Yep, but it is $2.99 per month. Well worth it to me to not have commercials that I can't skip or fast forward through.

Steve Carlton 09-07-2024 01:36 PM

90 seconds for one set of commercials and I'm willing to pay $2.99

speeder 09-07-2024 02:47 PM

I thought that I had already checked that box on my Amazon account…it’s extortion, though. With commercials, it’s unwatchable.

I love Maggie Q. seriously..love her. my next dog, if female will be named "Q".

Baz 03-28-2025 02:50 PM

There will be a total of 10 episodes......with 4 available as of last night.

How to Watch: ‘Bosch: Legacy’ Season 3: Premiere Date, Episode Schedule, and More on the Final Season

javadog 03-28-2025 06:51 PM

Liking it so far.

Steve Carlton 03-28-2025 06:53 PM

At least they're releasing 2 episodes per week.

Baz 04-04-2025 06:07 PM

About 6 episodes in so far......just a fantastic series! Maybe my fav. all time!

Took till Episode three though before a Coltrane appearance. Need more Coltrane! :)

Baz 04-04-2025 07:04 PM

OK just finished E6....guess that's as far as we have so far...lol....

Man...I knew that was the cop's brother!

BTW, Mo's a very cool customer.....:)

Steve Carlton 04-04-2025 10:00 PM

Mo's a big part of why I like Legacy. I like Legacy a little bit better than the original because Harry's still go connections in the department and he goes more into the gray area as a PI. Some excellent police work in E5.

IMO one of the best if not the best show available anywhere.

I really like almost all of the characters with any authority are black and/or female and most of the white guys are abbott and costello or criminals.
Just like in real life.

Could be a lot worse tho, like if it was from netflix.

THAT is why there are commercials.
If everyone just said no, the commercials would go away or at least be minimized.

That’s what you got out of watching it?? The main character, (protagonist), is an old, white guy along with his (main character protagonist), daughter. The “follow home robbery” crew is 100% Hispanic. The taco truck robber/murderer is portrayed as black or mixed-race.

You have to twist yourself into some kind of really weird MAGA victim cult BS to think that they are giving the honkies short shrift. Also, I don’t know where your mother’s basement is located but it’s very diverse here in Los Angeles, where the show is set.

speeder 04-05-2025 03:06 PM

I almost forgot…Honey Chandler, main character protagonist and new Los Angeles county DA, white as they come. Same for the outgoing DA she beat, etc., etc….

Not that I normally keep track of these things but Jesus, what a schit-for-brains review of the characters.

vash 04-08-2025 09:19 AM

Back on topic. I want his Yojimbo movie poster.
