What a night out........75 degrees and nice vigorous breeze! Sitting out on my covered front deck I can hear the ocean. So quiet here and I'm surrounded by my tropical palms and foliage......landscape lighting adding additional atmosphere.

This time of year in Florida.....

It was 70 F here today. The surrounding hills are draped in red and gold with the vibrant evergreens providing a nice contrast. I've been exploring the smaller county roads of Sussex county on the trike all week.

We hit 100 one day late last week.

Still 85 today and ridiculously humid, as in curl your hair humid.

I think we were last in the 90s Oct 21. We've been solidly in the 80s since then...

until today!

Yesterday high of 83º.

Today high of 37º and low of 34º.

The forecast is for our high to be in the mid to high 50s tomorrow, 60s Wed, 70s Fri and back in the 80s by Sun.

Wow....quite a drastic change there, Steve!

We crept back into the low 80's and along with it the humidity went up but not complaining - nights are still staying in the 60's which is quite pleasant....

Supposed to cool back down starting on Wed....

we have had some pretty nice weather this fall but that ends tonight, 27° for the low. Makes me sort of sad.

Many times SoCal has had a very warm Halloween. Tomorrow will hit 87º but dip to 56 by just before sun up. Should be nice weather for the sugar seekers.

Lots of road closures in Houston due to ice and TXDOT are salting the overpasses.

Not if you like snowmobiling, ice fishing or just playing in the snow.
This winter has turned into a useless season here for me.
Can't even take the Porsche out because of salt and mud.
