I think the bottom just dropped out. We had a low in the sixties two nights ago, mid forties night before, and mid thirties last night. After a warm beginning to fall, maybe winter is making its move. The days are still in the 70s though. I'm putting together my firewood rack on the patio and stocking it up today.

Woke up this morning to 50's outside and 60's inside, so turned on my heat for the first time since last winter.

Natural gas furnace. The only gas appliance I have.

Looking forward to yard work later today and for the next 6 months it's going to be wonderful working and playing (biking, old Porsche cars w/no AC, motorcycles, gardening, etc. etc.) outdoors here!

Now back to my morning coffee......

It’s just starting November here and as typical for my area the day time highs can reach high 80’s, but nighttime now drops to low 60’s. Rode (motorcycles) with my regular group of friends today, 200 miles, Idyllwild, Warner Springs, Santa Ysabel, Ramona, and East of the 15 freeway it was high 80’s to mid 90’s. The real warm months can extend to middle November here.

It's currently 25 degrees with a " feels like " temp of 20 here in north Georgia . Fortunately this cold crap rolls out of here in the next 24 hours or so . None too soon for me .

30° in Charleston, this morning, when I got up.

I think one of Florida’s iguanas fell in my house, as I found this little guy in my bathroom this morning.

Salamander.

And because like Iguana's they are cold-blooded....it's the same effect with the cold immobilizing them.

That looks like a common house Gecko. I have found some in a bathroom and outside at our front and side doors.

It was the low 90's on Lake Havasu, lake water getting way cooler though.
Snowbirds starting to flock in and the boonies are filling up with RV's and Van campers.

I stand corrected.

It is a Gecko.

Thanks, Marty!
