Yes. In fact I was able to walk more distance comfortably and without the added pain in the evening.

How do I know the pain wouldn't have stopped naturally? I suppose if I stopped going wave boarding and walking the beach with my wife and kids in the evening it might have. But what fun would that have made vacation?

The difference for me was night and day. I haven't had any real knee pain to speak of since applying the CBD oil where before that I was having daily pain.

What are they doing for you? Are you using them for pain, sleeping, ...?

sugarwood 12-07-2021 02:24 AM

Most likely, they are providing placebo benefits

Whatever works is still good, even if placebo, but I've never used it and would not dismiss it either.

Some folks dismiss glucosamine as joint relief also.... a placebo. Mebbe my last old Lab fell for the placebo effect, but it worked for her :).

The CBD industry is the wild west, including snake oil salesmen. Spend sometime online getting educated on Hemp based CBD versus Cannabis based CBD. Then spend some time investigating the reputable manufacturers of the Cannabis based CBD that supply dispensaries. Don't even bother with the Hemp based stuff you can buy anywhere, including AMZN.

Once you locate a reputable manufacturer, look throughout their website for the RATIO of CBD to THC. They can't remove all the THC, but they can get it down to the point where it won't get you high. If you're serious about pain relief and not just getting ripped, choose the highest CBD to THC ratio you can get. I've used 20:1 before and it worked for my headache that wouldn't go away.

Oh. 100% harmless and non-addicting, BTW.

The problem with CBD oil for topical pain is that the CBD oil molecules are too big to penetrate deep enough into the skin to reach the damaged nerves which are causing pain. However, when mixed with another oil, such as melaleuca oil, it can have some soothing effects for pain such as diabetic neuropathy, and fibromyalgia.

Look for "Zero THC" on the container. Medterra makes a more potent oil called "CBD Rapid Cooling Cream" with either 100MG, 750MG or 1000MG of CBD oil. (Most products have less concentration of the oil).

For foot pain related to neuropathy, it does work when all else fails.

Anyone have CBD make them drowsy? The missus stopped at a shop the other day on a whim and bought some CBD+CBG tincture without any research or anything. Very out of character. she's been taking it for 3 days and is really tired. I'm not sure if it's a reaction or the fact that maybe she's REALLY relaxed.

I can't find the source of the CBD, hemp or cannabis.

The tinctures hit pretty quick.

They will chill you out so if you are already tired they can be nap inducing.

Most people can power through minor levels of exhaustion without realizing they need some rest.

the question of legality wouldn't even enter my mind - if i used it (i don't) and it brought me relief from intense pain. fuk 'em.

That was my thought/response to the missus when she mentioned it. I have no doubt that she spends most of her time powering through exhaustion.

What you perceive as exhaustion could be a mellow buzz and she's in the process of adapting to that new norm?

CBG is usually thought of as a sleep aid, at least around here. The CBG I get to help my wife sleep is marketed as that, very different effect from CBD,

Good to know, thank you.

CBD? I know nothing, DMT is where it's at.

bivenator 07-06-2022 10:22 AM

Relaxing with a big bowl of DMT after work, perfect.

The missus has a tendency towards anxiety. Most of the time she manages it, but at times it really gets to be a lot if something extra stressful comes up. A couple of months ago, we were at the optometrist's office and a few stores down is a fancy new CBD place. We wandered down and she spoke to the people in the store about stuff for anxiety. They recommended an oil with CBD+CBG. Normally, we research the hell out of new stuff, but she bought some of the stuff that they recommended in the lowest dose that they sold with no research. She took that and noticed a difference. She went back and got the next stronger dose of the same stuff. She's taking that and says that she's noticing a huge difference (there's been some extra stress lately). I can't say if the difference is placebo or chemical, but there is definitely a difference, so for whatever reason, we'll take it.

The new beeZbee CBD+CBG tinctures contain a 1:1 ratio of full spectrum CBD and CBG, two powerful cannabinoids. These tinctures are made using organic hemp and are available in 3 strengths depending on the effects you desire.

- Low Strength: 375mg CBD + 375mg CBG (750mg total)
- Medium Strength: 750mg CBD + 750mg CBG (1500mg total)

Exactly. Great news.

I use a balm for localized pain in a cream; 100mg thc, 100mg CBD in two ounces of and it works for me...has for years. I have no desire to use pot for any other reason. Zero. It has been 40 plus years.

Trust me, I have tried every Australian Koala Miracle cream, arthritis cream extant. Nothing even made a dent except in my wallet.

If it is the placebo effect, I've got a ticket to ride and...
