I also see that are going to make it out of 304L instead of 30X. 304L scratches...

Stopped by a Tesla dealership last month. No trucks to see of course but wanted to see the various cars. Not sure i'd own one after seeing the poor condition of the few used cars they had out front. Looked very kit car in terms of fit and finish.

Three years almost to the day of the last post here, and still no cyber truck. Looks like Elon will be rolling it out as it was displayed three years ago, but the design hasn't really grown on me.
Who is *actually* going to buy one of these, except for a few of the people who have to have the latest iPhone, etc.? -Wayne |

I have a couple reasonably early reservation #s. I'm holding out for final specs and pricing to decide for sure, but if the high spec one still manages an EPA range of 500 miles (which should be a solid 350 on the highway at 75mph realistically), we're going to get it.
But the set of circumstances happens to be kinda right, have been wanting a truck for various projects, visiting family across the state won't require a stop, more room in the back seat for dogs than the Model 3, dent resistant for leaving at the park and ride, Tiguan is showing its age, etc. Seems production is starting to trickle, there are supposedly ~45 known to be rolling around at this point. |

Will it still be called a Tesla or be renamed to Xla or something like that?

maybe dream girl Simone Giertz can help Elon.

Shaun... Thanks for the video.
Ms Giertz ongoing struggle is just incredible! "On April 30, 2018, Giertz announced via YouTube that she had been diagnosed with a noncancerous brain tumor. After surgery to remove the grade I meningioma on May 30, 2018, she has continued to post humorous and upbeat accounts of her post-surgery progress, including photos of her "potential super-villain scar" and a public address video on her Patreon account. On January 18, 2019, Giertz reported that her tumor had returned. After a course of radiation treatments, Giertz again returned to production on May 29, 2019, describing her ordeal and presenting a project which converted her head alignment mask into a "work of art" (a lamp)." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simone_Giertz |
I had been watching Dianna Cowern, Physics Girl, for years, fitting for the most recent video on her channel to be Simone. Just tragic.
Video from 5 months ago. I just checked around and her last twitter post is July 10 where she says she's doing a little bit better. <iframe width="998" height="561" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/vydgkCCXbTA" title="An Update On Dianna's Health" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" allowfullscreen></iframe> |
I was visiting some people in LA a few weeks ago and stopped by the Peterson museum. (Saw some of Wayne’s cars there btw).
They had a Cybertruck there. I can say with no doubt that is the ugliest, most horrible, embarrassing and dumbest vehicle ever produced, bar none. It’s in a category by itself, anything else is a far distant second place. And I say that as a Tesla owner. |
Come on, worse then a Pontiac Aztec....and I say that as a Tesla and Pontiac owner. ;)
