I would question the judgment of anyone who shows up to a job interview smelling of cigarette smoke. Though I have gone to interviews where the person interviewing me had just had one.

Oh, you wouldn't like them if you did. They'd probably do something awful just to piss you off. Did you interview the smoker or not?

Good thing that cotton candy vape is marketed towards adolescents....

Well as an up tight PC society we have come a long way from Mad Men...

Smoking is not my thing but it's more about quality of character than smoking. I hired/work with a smoker, rarely smell it on them and they are very productive. Hire a quality individual it's about the work not the smoke. Full disclosure- I wish no one smoked or over ate or had BO or I didn't have to listen to their boring drivel, etc, etc...

I wonder if I could do a whole pig. We run the Cerakote oven at 250F.

Ever rear ended lube smells good compared to cigarettes. PB blaster smells like perfume compared to cigarettes.

^this^

I spilled diesel on my shoes a couple of days ago, and it smelled better than the smokers that sit on either side of me.

Probably only to you. Diesel smell is disgusting and pervasive.

Almost as much as cigarette stink. Almost.

if you have a smoker that smells stronger than diesel soaked shoes, the guy must be smoking in a plastic bag to seal in the flavor.
Strong perfume is much worse in my opinion, lingers forever and you can actually taste it. I don't know what smokers you guys hang with that smell so bad lol, I know quite a few still and can rarely smell it on them, as you can only smoke outside these days. I have never smelled it stronger than aftershave or perfume.

Of course. I remember smoking on commercial flights, then smoking "sections" then the ban on smoking on all commercial flights.

Smoking is one of three or four absolute failures in life: Smoking, alcoholism, obesity and gambling. There are of course others, but smoking is a huge red flag in the Mount Rushmore of bad habits...and I used to smoke.

Just the way it is.

Every man is entitled to his own poison ... in this context as long as the work is unaffected ... as others have already said.

Besides, smoking did originate from medicinal usage, the same can't be said for diesel fuel !

I wouldn't hire anyone that consistently smelled strongly of anything, be it perfume, BO, tobacco or whatever. We had an employee here that you could smell just being in the same hallway as her. We had a neighbor that you could smell her perfume as you walked by her house and her windows were open.

That said, I am going to hijack and ask if the cerakote comes in white and how heat tolerant is it? I am looking for white ceramic coating for side pipes.
