The new Random Pictures has been merged with this thread.

The old Random Pictures thread was closed because it didn't work for everybody, but some people were still using it.
If you have a better idea, PM Eric.

Really? I guess because it's like a Timex, it'll take a lickin' and keep on tickin', and it's ugly?

I think the A10 has a lot more character than a Glock. A glock is like a mutt, just looks like a dog, loyal and dependable. An A10 would be more like a British or French bulldog, so ugly it's kind of cute in an unconventional kind of way.

So ... this prolly wouldn't be a good time to start up a duplicate random pics thread?

BTW you didn't post a pic .....

In 1915, mechanics with the French air corps began outfitting the Voisin III with 37 mm cannons enabling the rickety single-engine biplane to attack targets both on the ground and in the air.

Is that one of them UFOs I keep hearin about?
That was "The 1972 Great Daylight Fireball" seen across the Pacific Northwest on August 10 of that year. Some friends an I were in Idaho at the time and saw it. We did not hear a sound from it but some places reported a double sonic boom as it went overhead.

Both the A10 and the Glock 9mm are dependable, feared by opponents, and easy to use.
Ugly? Only to those staring down the business end of one.

attempt at humor, I should keep my day job. If I had one.
I was just a kid of 11 or 12 but I saw it too, passed right over us in Salt lake City. That is to say we saw the trail of it, didn't actually see the thing moving.
We thought it was a rocket from one of the local companies that built that stuff but dad said no way. He built that stuff. We didn't hear nuthin either.

Clip about where he worked when some experimental solid rocket propellant went bad.
