That’s Pappy Boyington inner most right next to the fuselage.
In the late ‘70s I met him at an air show in SoCal, you’d usually see him at the air shows at a table selling his autobiography. I asked him for his autograph and still have it to this day. ![]()

Seeing as they are working on a crane that had already flipped over, it's not hard to figure out why they seem so nonchalant, even the guys up on the bank. Definitely not a safety oriented operation! Having been in a number of life threatening situations, thats only going to get worse!
