I know what you mean. I live in New Zealand which is just a whole lot of rivers, lakes and streams stuck together. And we still buy the stuff from Italy.

Funny, the most expensive and frankly the best water for sale at Trader Joes here in LA is from New Zealand.

WWII decorated Army Vet Tadeusz Wladyslaw Konopka dropped out of high school to enlist for military service in World War II. He was a member of A Company, 296th Combat Engineer Battalion.
In 1945, he was with the first American troops which entered Berlin. and was issued five Battle Stars on his campaign bar for his services during the war. After the war he had developed an interest in acting, deciding to pursue it as a career option after his release. He later changed his name to Ted Knight.

GIs of the 4th Infantry Division mingle amidst the rubble of Prüm, Germany. The debris, including a dead horse butchered by locals for food, is seen as a tangible reminder of war's inherent devastation. Prüm had once been a major transit center for Siegfried Line defenses. As of March 1, 1945, it was little more than a burned out shell of its former self. Soon, the Ivy Men would be crossing the Prüm River to continue the offensive.

I liked him a lot from MTM and Caddyshack. Interesting history. Apparently he had quite a career, starting out with jobs ala his role in MTM. I heard he didn't get along with the cast on Caddyshack, taking it more seriously than the others, who were partying and ad-libbing along. He passed early at 62 years old from the return of colon cancer. He was uncredited in his role as a cop in Psycho.
