Prior to WWI in Imperial Russia, a photographer named Sergei Mikhailovich Prokudin-Gorskii developed a process to take color images. He built a camera that could expose three black and white images simultaneously onto glass plates.

Each image was exposed through a different filter, yellow, magenta and cyan.

The resultant developed images could then be projected as slides through the same color filters and registered together on a screen to produce a color image. With modern computer technology these old images can be colorized and joined together to produce color images of century old scenes.

Alexander Lippisch, and the Delta Wings
Many more German scientists came to the US as the exploitation program called "Project Paperclip" finally came to be implemented after a lot of red tape-
"War booty" as they called it included many supersonic wind tunnels brought to the US

Siegfried Gunther was a german designer who along with many more(about 6000)scientists, designers, engineers and technicians went to work in the Soviet Union instead. Some were offered more lucrative contracts, Gunther designed the Mig-15

I wonder about how many of the 6k that went to Russia later thought that they'd have been better off in the US.

What might be even worse is that we, for the most part, gave immunity to the people associated with Japanese Unit 731 in exchange for the results of their "research."

Some dude on facebook made this axe and auctioned it off to raise money for his buddy that has cancer. I think it went for $1200.

Yes, according to him, he made the whole axe, used S7 steel for the head and then a combination of things to make the handle.

Bring on the zombies! nearly 14" and 8#. Although I think it's more suited to turning round timber into square timber.

hung my first axe. sharp enough to shave the hair on your arm or severe it.

I had this one for about 3 weeks, but it's on its way back to England.

In exchange the guy that wanted ^that^ one, is sending me this one (the one in the middle)

and this one (sans handle).
