Funny, I saved a copy of that pic Sun or Mon because I was going to post it here, but hadn't gotten around to it yet.

Dude! That's horrible! I'm betting you shed a tear most days.

This is my commute 2 days a week. I take the boxster every time. I do go in early and leave early to miss traffic. It's ~1:10 when I go in and 1:15 when I'm coming home.

Short work day!

There’s a song Elvin Bishop used to sing, part of it went something like “Go to work at twelve, get off at one. An hour for lunch, and my day’s work’s done.”

I’d love to find that song again.

Arthropleura is a genus of extinct huge millipede arthropods (over 2.5 m long) that lived in what are now Europe, central Asia and North America during the late Paleozoic (Carboniferous-Permian). This is a life size model in polyurethane resin made by me and my collaborators of the University of Cagliari in Italy.

I am glad they are extict. I am glad I don't have to try to squash some bug that big!

LOL. I'm in the office for 8 hours 6am until 2pm. But the drive takes an hour and 10 mins or an hour and 15 mins except for that one day that it took almost 4 hours.

It was dark when I started, but I did eventually get a few sunrise pics...

Hahahah - fair enough. Was just having a little fun, but it does make me think every time I see it... But as it is, I have a '72 911 and I religiously drive it 3 days a week - weather permitting. Friday to work, then as much as possible - even for errands - on the weekend.
