The crankshaft for a Wärtsilä-Sulzer RTA96-C engine, the largest reciprocating engine in the world, used in large container ships. It's a 1810-liter engine that generates 108,920 horsepower at 102 RPM, and it idles at 22 RPM, taking almost 3 seconds per rotation. This crankshaft weighs 300 tons.

There's a row of old churches accurately pointing to the Middle East

This is a strange statement to anyone with a knowledge of direction. The orientation of the line through the listed churches is northeast-southwest, almost perpendicular to the line in the second image.
Given the number and distribution of churches in the UK it is likely you could list a collection of them in a line to any point of the compass.

This satellite image gives a somber indication of the path of Helene.

A U.S. Geological Survey scientist posed with a telephone pole in the San Joaquin Valley, California indicating surface elevation in 1925, 1955 and 1977. The ground is sinking due to groundwater extraction.

Exactly. Pretty much anything that anyone wants to show can be shown if they scale it out far enough, or make the tolerance large enough. And folks do this all of the time.

Welcome to the Internet where anyone can expose their thoughts to the rest of the world whether they should or not!

I drew a line from Iceland to Madagascar, and you should see what happened! The line goes through Ireland, Europe, and a bunch of countries in Africa. Coincidence or something else?!? You decide!

Here's the before and after version of the pic that shows the extent of the power outage from Helene. I wish I could find something similar for Katrina and Rita. We drove through Louisiana and Mississippi after Katrina and before Rita, and the level of darkness along I-10 was like nothing I'd even experienced (before or since).

The second picture is also northeast to southwest. The pic is just taken at a different angle we're not used to seeing. (the top of the earth is just tilted to the right and towards you in that photo. )

Marc,
Check your compass. The red line is northwest to southeast.

Right, I added the line from the top photo (very roughly) to the bottom photo in yellow.
