Bernzomatic torch kit from the 1950s only $9.95. Adjusted for inflation that is $116.46 assuming a 1955 as the original date.

The other day I was scrolling through faceplant, and got distracted, so the video/reel that I was watching finished and moved on to the next thing which was an ad/commercial for "Pure Cut" brand pure titanium cutting boards. It caught my attention so I restarted it. Yes, it's a titanium cutting board (anti-bacterial!), but what really made me chuckle was...

not bad for rural 5G T-mobile home Internet @ $50/mo

A fireman aboard USS Alabama (BB-60) ignites a burner on one of the battleship's boilers. The photo was take during the battleship's initial shakedown cruise in January of 1943.
The South Dakota class, to which USS Alabama belonged, were equipped with eight Babcock & Wilcox boilers. These boilers operated at 850 degrees (454 C) and 600psi.

The interior of the massive *Volcano* set, the largest and most intricate ever built in Europe at the time, was created for the 1967 James Bond film *You Only Live Twice* (1967). Produced at Pinewood Studios, this groundbreaking set featured a giant volcano lair for the film’s villain, Ernst Stavro Blofeld, played by Donald Pleasence. The scale and design of the set were revolutionary for its time, making it one of the most iconic and memorable locations in the Bond series.
*You Only Live Twice* saw Sean Connery return as James Bond, embarking on a daring mission in Japan that included epic action sequences, espionage, and the famous rocket launch from the volcano.

That is $1,365.72 in today's dollars.

I was 11 when that movie came out. I was in awe of the Little Nellie.

I was two years old. When I saw it about your age, I liked Little Nellie, but the Kissy Suzuki's Toyota stole my heart!

Btw, the bad guy driver was Peter Maivia, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's grandfather.

Was Kissy's Toyota the 2000GT convertible? I believe Toyota didn't make a convertible and the studio had to have two made because Connery was too tall for the car.

I was going to mention the fight scene- I thought Bond wrapped a phone cord around the thug's neck, but I can't find it. The thug was played by Peter Maivia!
