Usually they try to keep that from happening when scheduling broadcast teams. (I think)

I wouldn't say they choked but they sure stepped on their own johnsons with 15 penalties.

Yep, that has been a real problem all year and was supersized in that game. |

I wonder who Jerry fires for this loss. The Dallas Special Teams coach is impressive, so prob not him.

FWIW my money would be on the OC for not going for those first downs on 4th and 2, but that would be a dick move.

Steelers score first...this could end up being a good game.

Or not.
Holy Sh.t I swear if Matt Canada comes back as the offensive coordinator next season I will not watch a game. This is just pathetic. The Chiefs RB has more total yards than the Steelers offense does. They should have benched Ben before the end of the first half. 20 yards passing in a half? F'k! I think they could have pulled someone from the stands and did better. Defense did everything you could ask of them in a half. Offense? Did it the players even come to the game?

I swear to the football gods, if Matt Canada isn't fired by noon today I'm going to Pittsburgh and protesting. I saw a statistic last night that Pittsburgh faced 3rd and 4 ninety-eight times during the season. All ninety-eight times they didn't throw the ball beyond the line of gain. Canada has to go.

Bengals, Bills, Chiefs and Bucs look pretty strong. 49ers not too shabby either. Deebo is a beast. Tonight's game should be good too. I think the Cards take it - watch for several pick sixes from Stafford
Matt Canada was driven out of Baton Rouge for exactly the same reason. He's a prime example of someone failing upwards...

A lot of pressure on Stafford and the Rams to deliver a win tonight . I am hoping for a solid effort by both teams . Time will tell .

That is true . The Cowboys didn't really get into a rythem and on paper were probably the better team . But too many self inflicted wounds and poor clock management cost them the game . Everyone's blaming the refs but the Cowboys have to look in the mirror .

In the case of the Steelers, it would have been better had they not made the playoffs. Squeaking into the playoffs cost them a few spots in the draft. It's estimated by making the playoffs that the Steelers went from around the 15th pick to now around the 20th pick.

Blame the refs? How about the call to run the ball with little time left and no timeouts? I was a little nervous at the end, hoping against a miracle finish. But as soon as I saw Prescott start to run the ball, I felt a surge of instant relief. Sure enough, time ran out. Unless the refs called that play, I think Cowboy fans should focus the blame on the coaching staff.

If you're gonna run you need to give yourself up before you eat too much time or just go for broke and try for the TD. And forgetting to hand the ball to an official, really bad mental mistake. He's played long enough in the league to know better. I find it fascinating how there is a difference between players at the end of a play. Some toss the ball aside and make the official retrieve it which I think is rude but that's another topic. Then there are the guys who you see are obviously looking for an official to hand it to. The later have been coached better is my opinion.
