How can people sign documents if they do not know how to write cursive?

The basic basics are not being taught in school. I expect that basic math is next. I remember Toby's story of a cashier unable to understand someone handing them $1.05 for a 80 cent sale, to get a quarter back.

I can’t count the number of times I’ve had to help a cashier figure out the change to give back.

It may not be correct but it’s a damn sight better than the first example.

Whatever idiot folded the first example failed twice in their thinking.

Letter opener, cutting through the top flap fold.

Your method is wrong, it is likely to damage the contents...

Heathen...

I am an OCD heathen tho'... I tap the contents of the envelope to the right ... then cut EXACTLY 1/16" off the left side. One time I cut 1/8 off ... didn't sleep well

The original fold was done by a machine as part of an automated envelope stuffing/mail sorting system for mass mailings.

Should we compare letter openers? I have several, but one of them is a strong favorite.

Cold Steel Katana!

The whole process starts with tossing the envelope up in the air (assuming you don't have a honey from Philly to hold it in her teeth while you do the honors).

Is that before or after the monkey-roll?

Hold on, Pard. My letter opener is actually a mini Samura sword.
