That's what I see, and probably how I would have folded it. Although, if your company is regularly producing landscape invoices, I'd just invest in some 11 inch envelopes...

I happen to take pride in my ability to fold a letter into three identical segments. Tight, square corners, too. Call me a nerd, I just like things done properly.

I hate to say this but it's getting worse. People are not learning the basics that we take for granted. I see examples of it every day.

One of my pet peeves is seeing people park on a street on the wrong side of the road, facing traffic. When I took driver's ed, that was not allowed. Nowadays, younger drivers simply don't care.

me too. i have a spacial awareness that lets me divide things visually damn near perfect. it probably comes from slicing pizza as a kid so things were split evenly between us feral kids.

i can fold towels like a pro. thankfully, i am a lazy slob.

letters..bam..done. the key is the proper envelope.

I always sent my invoices in envelopes without windows.

My wife has no real spacial sense. We will have a crock pot of leftovers and she will just grab a HUGE storage bowl to put them in. Twice the size of what is needed. I usually mention that is way too big, but she does it anyway. No big deal, it all works out.

hahhaa..my wife as well.

i can home in on the correct container. as i dig into leftovers, i downsize to a smaller container. drives my wife nuts. my wife would put the original cooking pot in the fridge if she could.

Maybe 10% of invoices coming in are in window envelopes, although we send invoices out in them.

You are correct-o-mundo. That caught my OCD as well. People just used to know how to do a hundred little things correctly that they don't anymore and they add up to cultural literacy, the glue that holds a civilized society together. IMO, of course.

I've misplaced my dad's home letter opener but I'll find it one day when I go through his stuff in storage. You two might have gotten along despite a bit of a delta in politics, he was a 3 piece suit dandy of a trial lawyer and later judge who was absolutely fastidious in his personal and professional habits.
