Absolutely, you're welcome. I've always loved that song.

AMC and EXPR are the latest 'hot stocks'. AMC is up over 1000% (300% pre-market today) and EXPR is up over 300% (150% pre-market today). I own a little of AMC.

I am a long term investor so I rarely follow these trends. It does make super interesting watching though.

My investment strategy is very similar to yours - small portfolio, and split half and half between stocks & ETF's, and RE investments.

No Bitcoin for me either. Got burned by a SPAC recently as well. Don't get me wrong - I am all for new technologies, but there is much profit to be gained by playing it down the middle.

Why are you surprised about weaponized social media? Many here were pleased when used against a political candidate.......

I'm all low cost asset class indexes and/or comparable ETFs. I have some REIT, but only in my tax-deferred investments.

Real short sellers have a benefit - they help clean up the trash.

Tim Pool did a pretty good take on it. Every thread I have been reading on reddit had been great. Transfer wealth from main street to wall street, no problem. When it goes the other way WOAH WOAH WOAH WEAPONIZED SOCIAL MEDIA, WE NEED TO FREEZE TRADING,WE NEED A BAILOUT.
