I built the 1/12 scale kits starting in 1976, then during Covid I got crazy trying to complete the collection!

5 hours of racing Patina wipes off the track easy with a little wd40.

I cleaned up another car from my late Brother-in-law's collection of dusty cars. This is a 1960 Chevrolet Impala by Frankiln Mint. I took the car apart, cleaned everything by washing with warm water and dawn dish detergent, then thoroughly dried everything and polished the body parts before reassembly. It is missing the passenger side antenna so, hopefully I will find a match one day. Found these on ebay, 3D printed and chromed. They are 1/25 scale and my car is a 1/24 scale so I am wondering if these would look too small on the car or would anyone actually notice?

Thanks, I didn't paint anything or add any extra detail to it, just cleaned it up. Thanks for the vote of confidence concerning the antennas, I may have to order some. The seller says they are made to order and that the turn around time is about 3 to 4 weeks.

I ordered the 3D printed antennas. I talked/texted with the seller and maker of the parts and it was a great exchange about how the parts are chromed, he uses Revell chrome spray which is a top chrome. So anyhoo, I ordered them and even got a black Friday discount so only paid $12.96 and free shipping. He also told me that if they didn't fit or look right to me then I could return them for a full refund so. Can't wait to get them. I brushed the car last night with some floor gloss to make the windows super clear and polished the body again today. Here are some glamour shots. The wood plank is something my wife found at Goodwill. Great model my dad has a 58 impala from the danbury mint he had it since I was little in the 90s i will get some pics of it sometime. This is a smart car 1/18 I got two of them from a flea market for cheap. Yes I would love to see that one. Danbury Mint also made some very nice models.
