Can anyone recommend a source for made in the USA modeling tools? My search so far has not produced anything obvious. I would also prefer to order direct instead of through Amazon.

TIA.

A friend of mine who used to build HO trains and layouts always had Micro Mark catalogs laying around. I don't know what kind of a selection of stuff they sell is US made, but...maybe worth a look?

Micro Mark products is what initiated my quest. They have paint brushes clearly labeled “Made in China”. I don’t know if that is true of all their products.

I bought this "official" Porsche Minichamps 904 at Stoddard Porsche in Whiloughby, OH in maybe 2007. It was an impulse buy. $80 or so

It's worth several times that now. Several + if I would not have dislodged it from it's mounting base and cut those plastic hold down straps.

I wish I would have impulse-bought the 'official' Moby Dick when I had the chance.

(But I do have a silver PMA Minichamps like Bob!)

510 Hotwheels

thanks HobieMarty,

being a 510 fan since the '70's, when these came out I would buy one almost every time I saw one. Fast forward to Covid, and I had some time to organize all of my Hotwheels turned out I had just over 100 510's!
I saw you post and just looked, I have 5 with the snow flakes

There is one on ebay right now and the price is $79.98 + $9.98 shipping.
Why are those on the snowflake card so much more than others?

I got that hess truck when i was little. I didnt really like 911s at the time but i liked that one because it had lights and went really good with the rubber wheels and all.

I have several years worth, also some Texaco planes.

Ii I use to love the time of year when Wix would put out their trucks, then you had the option to get the car with the trailer. I have a box of these as well.
